Pictou, Nova Scotia
Pictou --( Pick - 2 )- is an interesting town. Architechture, especially the local quarried sandstone buildings downtown are beautiful structures.
The buildings are interesting... culture and people too. A wide range.
Went through a knife / cutlery business down near the warf where they manufacture on site. In the window was a taxidermy display ; Nice Beaver.
The marina is the focal point of the town... life ruled by the tides in most of these maritime villages. Here seems more tuned to tourism and a transit point to PEI - Prince Edward Island- ... Will catch the ferry to PEI tomorrow.
