Fredericton, New Brunswick 2 Canada
Fredericton turns out to be one of my favorite stops / places on this journey. Fredericton is a really unique city. The history, the people, ... the geography, architechture, atmosphere... an amazing place.
This will take several posts as there is so many interesting places and people to cover.
After taking the bridge across the St John river, took a left on queen street and began taking in the city.
This is great. Have to stop and start taking pix. This is the backside of the parlament building. Old victorian houses have been preserved and are some of the official offices of the province. The residential and commercial architechture is beyond description... breathtaking. You know this is going to be a fantastic historical pkace. I can't take pix fast enough!
Drive on down and there's this beautiful cathedral. Have to stop and take pix. -- see post of Christ Church Cathedral. ... and it is a cathedral! The tour w/ Hank... from Alabama.... was phenomenal--
Back up the street and it's musemm / art gallery, Lord Beavervrook hotel, then to the barracks /armory square(another post)... ... Wow!
